Loose Goose Studio is a group of silkscreen artists based in Burlington, Vermont. We make prints, posters, and zines, always by hand, usually in limited runs, never taking ourselves too seriously.
Early in our group's life — when we were all taking a class together at IskraPrint — we were planning our first show and doing a free-association word game. Cut-up phrases were taped to a wall and over the evening we rearranged them into increasingly strange combinations. Somewhere in the chaos, Getting Sticky at the Loose Goose Function materialized. It wasn't the show title we chose — that became Cloud Mind, Concrete Smile — but the goose never left. It stuck to the wall and to us.
